Round Two Successes!

During the first 23 days of Round 2 Phase 2 (R2P2) I lost 25 pounds.  Then I decided to exercise.  This slowed my daily losses, but I began to firm up. Frankly, I don't care what the scales read as long as I look good!  I mean, the daily losses during P2 are always thrilling, but I just want to be fit and firm first and foremost. That was a mouthful! HAHAHA ;)

I began my exercise foray with BeachBody's 10 Minute Trainer.  I found I was still too large to do many of the floor exercises, but was also thrilled to learn that I could actually perform many at that point. When I began the 10 Minute Trainer, I had lost 75 pounds with the HCG plan, so I was much more agile than I had once been!  However, I finally decided that I would hold off on the 10MT until a few more pounds had left and instead try the Tabata Protocol prescribed in Dr. Simeon's book on the HCG Protocol.  It's intense, but easy to accomplish and only takes a few minutes.  I've been working up using my exercise bike and find I really enjoy it. If you have questions about it, let me know. I'll send or post the details.

Back to the books! Finals will be complete in a few days and I am looking forward to hurrying this cookbook out to you all. Hang in there--you are closer than you think!

Back In Town

I apologize for being off the hook for a couple of months! The PhD program is pretty intense and I have been focusing every free minute on completing the Volume 2 Cookbook, so something had to head to the back burner...unfortunately it was this blog. The cookbook has pictures, as promised; however, this has proved to be a great challenge and editing has gone on and on and on. I have one more final to complete this weekend, then the book will finally be out, God willing. :) I appreciate your patience and understanding during this creation phase.

Also, the request for a daily menu has been granted. I will be forwarding free copies of those to all my buyers as a gift for your patience and patronage. Thanks for your support!
